Vocation Coordination Initiative Hosts Annual Gathering December 14, 2021 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment The Collegeville Institute’s Called to Lives of Meaning and Purpose Initiative (CLMPI) hosted its fourth annual gathering on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Approximately 60 people participated in the virtual meeting, which brought together project teams from the 13 innovation hubs to reconnect with each other, reflect theologically on their work, share vocational resources, and interact with staff from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Dr. Nancy Ammerman presented preliminary results of the qualitative research project with congregations. A highlight of the meeting was the chance to engage initial gleanings from the qualitative research project. Last spring, the CLMPI undertook a major evaluation and research project under the direction of Drs. Nancy Ammerman, Roman Williams, and Jennifer McClure. The goal is the gain a more comprehensive view of how congregation members understand and live out their callings, and how an awareness of callings fits into a life of meaning and purpose.
