Unfinished Worlds: Jürgen Moltmann at 90 October 19-20, 2016 at Emory UniversitySeptember 14, 2016 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment The Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA will host world-renowned theologian Jürgen Moltmann for a two-day conference on October 19 and October 20, 2016. The conference, titled Unfinished Worlds: Jürgen Moltmann at 90, will focus on “contemporary theology, the contemporary church, and the contemporary world, as seen through the lens of Moltmann’s theology.” A diverse group of speakers will address question of what theologians, Christians, and citizens must work for in this unfinished world. Hilda P. Koster, a 2016 Fall Resident Scholar at the Collegeville Institute, will lead a panel titled: “God, Climate and the Challenge of Being Human: The Promise of Moltmann’s Kenotic Theology of Creation for an Age of Climate Change.” For more information on how to register and attend this event, please visit the conference website.
