Help us Celebrate Fr. Kilian McDonnell’s 100th Birthday

On September 16, Fr. Kilian McDonnell will turn 100 years old. We are deeply grateful for his work founding the Ecumenical Institute for Cultural Research, now Collegeville Institute, 54 years ago.

To celebrate Fr. Kilian’s centennial birthday, we invite you to share well-wishes, photos, and memories on a virtual Kudoboard here.

The Kudoboard will be delivered to Fr. Kilian on his birthday and read aloud to him. At the end of September, the messages will also be printed into a book format and presented to him.

Aloha and Happy 100th birthday to a wonderful scholar, poet, and most of all, a human being. I don’t worry about praise going to your head, because you’re also a humble Benedictine monk. You’ve made the most of your first 100 years snd I look forward to see how much “good trouble” you’ll cause in the next.
