Catholic Press Awards Honor Collegeville Authors August 6, 2015 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment Winners of the 2015 Catholic Press Association Catholic Press Awards and CPA Book Awards were announced in June, 2015 at the Catholic Media Conference in Buffalo, NY. Several authors affiliated with the Collegeville Institute were honored with awards. Below is a list of the authors who were honored.* Book Awards: Family Life (First Place): Mortal Blessings by Angela Alaimo O’Donnell, Ave Maria Press (summer writing workshop participant) Catholic Novels (First Place): Master of Ceremonies by Donald Cozzens, ACTA Publications (resident scholar) Faith and Science (Second Place): Teilhard’s Mysticism by Kathleen Duffy, SSJ, Orbis Books (summer writing workshop participant) Family Life (Second Place): Everyday Sacrament by Laura Kelly Fanucci, Liturgical Press (staff member and summer writing workshop participant) History (Honorable Mention): Thomas Aquinas’s Summa theologiae: A Biography by Bernard McGinn, Princeton University Press (resident scholar) Faithful Citizenship/Religious Freedom (First Place): Crucified People by John P.
