Board Establishes Donald Ottenhoff Fellowship Endowed Fund August 17, 2021 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment Don Ottenhoff In May 2021, the Board of Directors of the Collegeville Institute established the Donald Ottenhoff Fellowship Endowed Fund in appreciation for Don’s leadership as executive director from 2004-2021. During his tenure, Don increased Collegeville Institute programming to enhance its mission as a Christian organization committed to deepening mutual understanding among all the people of God. Highlights of his accomplishments include expanding the Resident Scholars program to include short-term as well as the traditional semester and year-long residencies, creating the successful Ecclesial Literature Project writing workshops, establishing Vocation Hubs around the country, and initiating the Rural Fellows, Multi-Religious Fellows, and Twin Cities Fellows programs. The Fellowship will be awarded to applicants whose projects advance the mission as Don has helped us see it. Of special interest are projects that explore the relationship between art and lived religion, theological or religious resources bearing on current social, political, or cultural issues, or aspects of the natural world in relationship to religious thought and practice. Applications from outside the United States, especially from those living in developing countries, will receive special consideration. We invite you to recognize and honor Don for his dedication and commitment as a transformative leader with a gift to the Donald Ottenhoff Fellowship Endowed Fund. Make a Gift Today Like this post?
