Five Collegeville Institute Authors Named as Association of Catholic Publishers Awards Finalists April 12, 2016 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment On April 8, 2016 the Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP) announced the 2016 finalists for their Excellence in Publishing Awards. The goal of these awards is to recognize the best in Catholic publishing. Five Collegeville Institute authors were named as finalists.* In the Biography category, Angela Alaimo O’Donnell (summer writing workshop participant) was named a finalist for Flannery O’Connor: Fiction Fired by Faith (Liturgical Press), and Michael N. McGregor (workshop facilitator) was named a finalist for Pure Act: The Uncommon Life of Robert Lax (Fordham University Press). In the Prayer & Spirituality category, Alison M. Benders (summer writing workshop participant) was named a finalist for Just Prayer: A Book of Hours for Peacemakers and Justice Seekers (Liturgical Press). In the Resources for Ministry category, Kathleen A. Cahalan (staff member) and Laura Kelly Fanucci (staff member and summer writing workshop participant) were named finalists for their book, Living Your Discipleship: A Practical Guide to Following Christ in Daily Life (Twenty-Third Publications).
