This ecumenical event draws on and engages with a variety of faith traditions to help us explore and expand our own perspectives on peace and peacefulness. We hope you will join us whenever you are able, and invite and encourage your parishioners to do the same. Our featured presenters are Rev. Joetta Schlabach, pastor of Faith Mennonite Church in Minneapolis, and Dr. Gerald Schlabach, Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas. View the schedule of events. Gerald Schlabach is a professor in the Department of Theology at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and past chair of the Department of Justice and Peace Studies there. He was a resident scholar at the Collegeville Institute during the 2013/14 academic year. Joetta Schlabach graduated from Goshen (IN) College and spent seven years working with Mennonite Central Committee, including assignments in Nicaragua and Honduras. She now serves as pastor at Faith Mennonite Church in Minneapolis, MN.
