Daniel Brunner, Professor of Christian History and Formation is a resident scholar at the Collegeville Institute for spring 2013. Dan offered a lecture entitled, Is God Going to Save Us from this Ecological Mess We’re In? An Introduction to Eco-Theology, co-sponsored by the School of Theology·Seminary, the Arboretum, the Department of Theology, the Department of Environmental Studies, and the Collegeville Institute. The presentation centered on three key questions:
- Why should Christians care about the earth when there are so many other pressing issues?
- What might the Bible and Christian theology have to say?
- Why are Christians so divided around this question?
