Writing Programs Throughout the year, the Collegeville Institute offers a variety of writing programs geared toward various levels of writing skill, genre and interest. Our programs are open to pastors, lay leaders, memoirists, novelists, poets, and other thinkers and writers. Some programs take place at the Collegeville Institute, some on-line, and others are held in partnership with institutes, seminaries, or churches in different regions around the country. Participants, taught and guided by such prolific writers as Kathleen Norris, Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, Lauren Winner, Sophfronia Scott, and Renita Weems, come together to write, learn, and discover anew (or perhaps for the first time) the call to be writers for the life of faith.
