Shaping Ministry for the Next 25 Years

May 5, 2022 By Amy Fistler Leave a Comment

Dear Friend of the Collegeville Institute,

First and foremost, we thank you for your generous support and encouragement for our programs. The Collegeville Institute couldn’t thrive without you!

This past November, we are thrilled to have begun our second cohort of the Rural Minnesota Fellows Program, only possible through your contributions. This important program gathers pastors across Minnesota to nurture leadership and assist them in meeting the needs of their congregations and communities.

Reverend Tristan English, from the first Rural Minnesota Fellows cohort, said this of his experience: “My final project allowed me to experience firsthand prophetic leadership and has ignited a spark in myself, my congregation, and the greater community…. This fellowship has shaped my ministry for the next 25 years.”

As we near completion of our 2021-2022 program year, we are amazed to see all that has been accomplished.

  • Dr. Jacqueline Bussie welcomed as our new executive director
  • 9 Butler apartment renovations completed
  • 24 long and short-term Resident Scholars hosted
  • Writing workshops hosted online with 80 participants
  • Rural Minnesota Fellows program launched second cohort
  • Collegeville Connections and Unlikely Conversations offered new seasons

As always, we are deeply grateful to you for your support. Your contributions allow us to finish this year’s programs on a high note and plan with confidence into the future, as we move to on-site workshops this summer.

We hope that you will consider renewing and increasing your support by making a gift by June 30 – the end of our fiscal year.
