How Pastors Write for Public Life June 13, 2017 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment 2017 How Pastors Write for Public Life participants (Left to Right): Linda Whiteside, Tracey Beadle, April Herron, Charlotte Gullick (writing instructor), Paul Lutter, Keith Ray, Nancy Taylor, Michael Marsh, Amelia Fulbright A group of pastors and faith leaders met in early May at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary for the five-day writing workshop How Pastors Write for Public Life. Participants received individual coaching from workshop facilitator Charlotte Gullick, as well as instruction in specific writing strategies in multiple genres. One participant reflected: “Ultimately the week was far better than I had even anticipated. I left feeling capable of writing in several genres and with my philosophy of writing significantly altered and enhanced.” Another participant shared this feedback about workshop facilitator Charlotte Gullick: “Charlotte was the single best thing about this workshop. I applied to this program strictly based on the description of it. I did not know Charlotte nor any of the participants. Charlotte’s teaching enabled us to come together as a group and her instruction was applicable and relevant.” Like this post?
