The Collegeville Institute and Saint John’s School of Theology·Seminary celebrated the 50th anniversary of the release of The Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy on December 4, 2013. Participants explored the convocation, spirit, and events of Vatican Council II. This was the first of five events focused on the five key documents of the Vatican Council II. For more information, visit www.vaticanIItalks.com.

3:45-4:45: Bar Jonah – Vatican Coffee Bar
Saint John’s Abbey Chapter House
Guided by Father Anthony Ruff, OSB, this event will orient conference participants to the convocation, spirit, and events of Vatican Council II. It will focus on the major concepts of Sacrosanctum Concilium. This event will be held in the Abbey Chapter House and feature coffee, biscotti and good conversation to set the stage for the main event of the evening lecture by keynote speaker Massimo Faggioli.

5:00-5:30: Evening Prayer, Liturgy of the Hours
Abbey Church

All are welcome to join the monks of Saint John’s Abbey for Evening Prayer.

6:00-7:15 PM Dinner – Social Hour
Founder’s Room
Everyone is invited but must pre-register for dinner in the Saint John’s University Founder’s Room. Dinner cost is $10 per person and pre-registration is required due to limited seating.

7:30-8:45 PM Keynote Speaker Massimo Faggioli
Stephen B. Humphrey Auditorium

The event will culminate in the keynote lecture offered by Massimo Faggioli, Assistant Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul MN, USA). Time for questions and answers will follow the lecture.
