The events will start on Wednesday, September 5th and are open to all faiths and all experience levels. Ajahn Jotipālo received his B.A from Wabash College, majoring in art and classics. He was a passionate whitewater kayaker and mountain climber until a near death experience led him to meditation. During his 20 years at Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in Redwood Valley, CA, Jotipālo has been exploring how to use art a form of meditation. He spending the 2018/19 academic year at the Collegeville Institute, where he is working on a project titled What can Buddhist Artistic Traditions Learn from Christian Iconography.
