      • Each summer, the Collegeville Institute opens its doors to pastors, ministers, lay leaders, and other thinkers and writers for week-long, intensive writing workshops geared toward various levels of writing skill, genre and interest.
        Each fall, the Collegeville Institute partners with other institutes, seminaries, or churches to coordinate regional off-site workshops.

Lives Explored is a video storytelling project on vocation. We ask everyday Christians how they see God at work in their lives. Watch how their struggles, joys, and questions capture what calling means today.

Diane MillisDiane M. Millis, PhD, is the interviewer and producer of Lives Explored. She is a spiritual director, teacher, inspirational speaker, and the author of Conversation–the Sacred Art: Practicing Presence in an Age of Distraction (SkyLight Paths Publishing, 2013) and Deepening Engagement: Essential Wisdom for Listening and Leading with Purpose, Meaning and Joy (SkyLight Paths Publishing, 2015). Diane brings to her ministry over 25 years of teaching and consulting experience in the fields of spirituality, communication studies, and human development. She has taught at the University of Minnesota, College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University, and Saint Catherine University. She is the founder of the Journey Conversations Project, an educational initiative for people of all faiths to cultivate their capacity for dialogue, discovery, and discernment.
