Gary Reierson is the Program Director of the Collegeville Institute Fellows. Gary served from 1989 to 2012 as President of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, the largest council of churches at all levels in North America. In this capacity he worked to educate and mobilize pastors and congregations from all denominations on key issues in their communities. He also served for 12 years as a parish pastor in two congregations in the Twin Cities, is adjunct professor at the School of Theology and Seminary of Saint John’s University, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts of the University of Minnesota and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.
