It seems I am forever
looking for the thin
place, wishing to glimpse
inside a moment, close enough
to stand sentry to the invisible.
I want to balance on a tight rope
between mystery and awe, be held
in the slim, glimmering pause
like the one just before
the singing is heard.

I feel like reading your poetry is a thin place for me, something I am in great need of today. I need to experience that more than taking another breath.
