Valerie Weaver-Zercher
Valerie Weaver-Zercher is an acquisitions editor at Herald Press and author of Thrill of the Chaste: The Allure of Amish Romance Novels (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2013). Her op-eds, essays, and reviews have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Review of Books, Orion, Christian Science Monitor, Christian Century, and Sojourners, and her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She and her husband, Dave, and their three sons live in Pennsylvania. She attended a summer writing workshop led by Michael Dennis Browne at the Collegeville Institute in 2008.
