Joanne Esser
Joanne Esser is a poet and nonfiction writer living in Minneapolis. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University and published a chapbook of her poems, I Have Always Wanted Lightning, with Finishing Line Press in 2012. Her work has appeared in Slant, Under the Sun, The Sow’s Ear Poetry Review and Water~Stone Review, among other places. She attended the 2010 summer writing workshop Believing in Writing: Poetry Prose & Prayer Workshop with Michael Dennis Browne.
