Weldon Nisly
Weldon Nisly is a peace activist and retired pastor. Prior to leading congregations in Cincinnati and Seattle for nearly 30 years, Weldon served with the Mennonite Church and Mennonite Central Committee in peace and poverty ministries. His peace work has brought him to war zones in Nicaragua and Iraq. In 2002, Weldon became a Benedictine Oblate at Saint John's Abbey and co-founded the Mennonite Catholic Bridgefolk movement. He is a former Resident Scholar (Jan-May 2001 & 2010, Dec 2014-April 2015) and writing workshop participant at the Collegeville Institute.
