Tom Montgomery Fate
Tom Montgomery Fate is the author of six nonfiction books, including a new memoir: The Long Way Home: Detours and Discoveries (2022). A regular contributor to the Chicago Tribune, his essays have appeared in Orion, The Boston Globe, Christian Century, Sojourners, The Iowa Review, and elsewhere. He spent spring 2018 as a Resident Scholar at the Collegeville Institute and participated in a summer writing workshop in 2019. More at tomfate.com .
