Shirley H. Showalter
Shirley Hershey Showalter (www.shirleyshowalter.com) spent most of her career as a professor and then president of Goshen College in Indiana. After six years as an executive at the Fetzer Institute, Kalamazoo, Michigan, she became a full-time writer, publishing a memoir Blush: A Mennonite Girl Meets a Glittering World in 2013. Shirley has been involved at the Collegeville Institute as a 2015 writing workshop participant and as a Killian McDonnell Fellow in Residence in fall 2016.
