Rachel Srubas
Rachel M. Srubas is the author of three books on Christian spiritual life: Oblation: Meditations on St. Benedict's Rule (Paraclete Press, 2006), City of Prayer: Forty Days with Desert Christians (Liturgical Press, 2008), and The Girl Got Up: A Cruciform Memoir (Liturgical Press, 2013). She has published articles and poems in The Christian Century, Weavings, Give Us This Day, The Best American Poetry, and elsewhere. She is the pastor of Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church and is a spiritual director who teaches on the faculty of the Hesychia School of Spiritual Direction in Tucson Arizona, where she makes her home. Rachel participated in the 2013 summer writing workshop, Apart, and Yet A Part.
