Lillian Daniel
Featured in the New York Times and on PBS, Lillian Daniel’s writing has been described as “biting, hilarious, pitch perfect, tender, and often stunningly beautiful.” Her new book, Tired of Apologizing for a Church I Don't Belong To is generating international conversation about why the church keeps answering questions no one is asking in this changing religious landscape. On Sundays you can find her preaching at First Congregational Church in Dubuque, Iowa, where she has been Senior Pastor since 2016. Lillian was a summer writing workshop facilitator at the Collegeville Institute (2010-2013), as well as a writer participant in a 2004 workshop led by Lauren Winner.
