Heidi Haverkamp has been Senior Associate Rector of St. Chrysostom’s Episcopal Church in Chicago since June 2016. For almost nine years she was Vicar and then Rector of St. Benedict, in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Her first book, Advent in Narnia: Reflections for the Season was published in September 2015. She has published articles in print and online in The Christian Century and elsewhere. She is a Benedictine oblate at Holy Wisdom Monastery in Wisconsin. She received her M.Div. from The University of Chicago Divinity School in 2006 and completed a certificate in Anglican studies from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary (now Bexley Seabury) a year later. She participated in the Collegeville Institute’s workshop, Working Pastor, Writing Pastor with Martin Copenhaver and Lillian Daniel in July 2011. Heidi is working on a second book, for Lent.
