Heidi Neumark
Heidi B. Neumark is pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manhattan and executive director of Trinity Place, a shelter for homeless LGBTQ youth. In addition to Sanctuary, she is the author of Breathing Space: A Spiritual Journey in the South Bronx (2003) and Hidden Inheritance: Family Secrets, Memory and Faith (2015). She has attended several Collegeville Institute writing workshops, most recently In the Thick of It: Explorations of Advanced Topics in Prose Writing led by Lauren Winner in 2019.
