J. Dana Trent
The Rev. J. Dana Trent is a Collegeville Institute alumna, graduate of Duke Divinity School, and professor of World Religions and Critical Thinking at Wake Tech Community College. Her debut memoir, Saffron Cross: The Unlikely Story of How a Christian Minister Married a Hindu Monk, chronicles her interfaith marriage. An ordained Baptist minister and former chaplain, her work has appeared in Time.com, Sojourners, Religion Dispatches, The Christian Century, and Religion News Service. Her latest book, Dessert First: Preparing for Death While Savoring Life, chronicles her work as an end-of-life chaplain and grief guru.
