CI Executive Director Dr. Bussie Co-Edits New Book January 11, 2023 By Collegeville Institute Leave a Comment Collegeville Institute Executive Director, Dr. Jacqueline Bussie, co-edited a recently released book with Peter Slade and Shea Tuttle, entitled People Get Ready: Twelve Jesus-Haunted Misfits, Malcontents, and Dreamers in Pursuit of Justice. The book covers twelve activists whose faith transformed 20th century America. 14 writers in all contributed to the book, including Dr. Bussie who wrote a chapter about Flannery O’Connor. Lauren Winner, a divinity professor at Duke University and frequent Collegeville Institute workshop facilitator, was another one of the contributors. Dr. Bussie also participated in a livestream on January 6th about the book.
