Invest in International Scholars The Collegeville Institute is well known for its Resident Scholars Program. Scholars have come from across North American and around the world. These scholars pursue work that benefits themselves and the communities they serve. The international component is a source of deep inter-cultural learning for all scholars and offers scholars from abroad the rich resources of Saint John’s University and Abbey. The presence of international scholars at the Collegeville Institute provides rich theological and cultural diversity that inspires and expands our work. To remain true to our mission, we seek to increase the financial resources available for international Resident Scholars, especially those who apply for residency from developing countries. Given global economic differences these international scholars often require financial assistance to make their residency possible. The Collegeville Institute has established a fund for scholar assistance, but that fund needs replenishing. In our comprehensive campaign, we seek to raise $250,000 for scholar assistance.
