(three weeks to three months)
Short-term resident scholars are invited to the Institute for three weeks or more from September through April. Short-term residents come from diverse professions and backgrounds including academics, writers, clergy, pastors, church leaders, potters, musicians, artists, print-makers, song-writers, thinkers, novelists, corporate leaders, and many others.
Short-term residents come to the Institute to study, create, or renew their passions and projects. The program offers a variety of experiences and emphases depending upon the needs of the person. A short-term stay gives residents the time and space to begin thinking anew. It provides a perfect occasion to devote a concentrated period of effort and energy to a project. Dust-off the novel you started years ago. Complete the lyrics of your song. Finish that tough chapter. Redesign your corporate committees. Think. Create. Enjoy.
