Campaign for Faith Leadership
Faith Leadership for an Ecumenical Future Campaign
The Board of Directors for the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research has initiated the Campaign for Faith Leadership to raise $2 million in current gifts plus add to the endowment through estate planning.
This campaign allows the Institute to:
- increase programming
- solidify and significantly expand traditional scholarly endeavors
- renew and upgrade the physical campus
The Collegeville Institute has been buoyed by a $997,000 three-year grant from the Lilly Endowment, earmarked for special program development. Though the programs supported by this grant are distinct from those in the campaign's goals, the grant allows us to embark on the campaign with well-founded confidence in the Collegeville Institute's vitality and national status.
The Collegeville Institute is proudly rooted in the achievements and aims of the Christian ecumenical movement of this and the last century. In all its activities the Institute seeks to embody the Spirit's gift of Christian unity. We are also committed to today's broadening ecumenical vision, a vision that seeks to engage the globe's diverse religious traditions while recognizing the dignity and integrity of each. The goal of this campaign is to shape religious leaders who will work to overcome religious bigotry, conflict, and violence by promoting religious understanding and co-operation.
